About Studio J

Studio J is a private personal training and group exercise studio with a unique approach.

The owner is Jennifer Gallagher who has over twenty years of experience in the fitness industry. She is also a lifetime athlete and previous dancer. Studio J is a new breed of fitness studio. Private, beautiful, and uniquely focused on the body (not the machines), Studio J is not your typical gym. We specialize in a type of core-based functional training that uses your body weight, custom designed equipment, and cutting edge training methods to unlock your body’s potential and take you to the next level. This unique style of training practiced at Studio J is ideal for those who want long, lean, and sculpted bodies; who enjoy perfecting the precision of their movements, and want a body that is quick, strong, and responsive. Studio J also offers high energy cycling classes that focus on cardiovascular endurance, as well as the full body and core.

Trainers

 

 

 

Jennifer Gallagher is a lifetime athlete and health advocate. She has been a Nationally Certified Personal Trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and the American Council on Exercise (ACE), as well as a Certified Group Fitness Instructor through ACE and Certified Spinning Instructor. Jennifer also received her B.A. in Kinesiology from the University of Colorado at Boulder which is a pre-physical therapy, sports medicine and exercise physiology based degree.  She has enjoyed working in a variety of environments and with a gloriously diverse range of bodies. She typically trains hard, but always keeps it safe and fun with a constant mind to core and alignment.

 

 

 

 

 

Chris Sokol-White – Cycle Pump
Chris is the founder of Summit Health and Fitness in Santa Fe. He enthusiastically approaches fitness from an overall health and wellness perspective. With more than a decade of experience as a Personal Trainer and Wellness Coach, he has the expertise and motivational skills you need to help reach your goals.  Chris is excited to join the Santa Fe fitness community, following his recent move to the area.  No matter what your goals are, where you currently stand, or where you want to go – Chris is the partner you want to assist you on your wellness journey!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ann Erickson – TRX – Strength Class
Ann graduated from Ball State University in Indiana with a degree in Exercise Science.  She is a certified TRX instructor and loves the challenge that comes with creating fun and challenging classes to keep every fitness level engaged.  When she’s not teaching she is taking care of her three athletic and active kids and helping them stay fit.  She’s looking forward to being a part of Studio J!

 

 

 

 

 

Jahan Mostofi – Cycle – Athletic Yoga
Jahan incorporates in his yoga classes the union of breath and movement to facilitate a deeper awareness of the joy that lives in our hearts. He brings the best of both worlds, a physically challenging class accompanied with a wonderfully refreshing post yoga high found through meditation. Born in Los Angeles and raised in Santa Fe New Mexico, he can always be found tapping into the wilderness as he dances with mother nature’s energy. Jahan currently resides in Santa Fe with his Labrador Retriever named Aspen.
